Tonight marked the Super Perigee Moon. A moon this large hasn’t been seen for almost 20 years. Unfortunately for us here in Colorado, the winds blew in the clouds and I didn’t get to see the Super Moon. Lesson learned though, with an event like this, always go no matter what you think the conditions are going to be like. I went out probably 20 minutes late and started shooting. I think I got a few good shots, but this one stood out to me. The tree in the foreground framing the Full Moon turned out great and the fade to black on both the top and bottom adds to this dramatic shot. Unfortunately, the moon isn’t super sharp because of the clouds, but I still think it turned out great! I was also debating cropping this shot…what do you all think? I hope the rest of you got out to see the Moon tonight!
