Dewey Bridge is just across the border Colorado border in Utah a few miles south of I-70. I grew up visiting this bridge after rafting trips with my family, so it was only fitting that we stopped for a visit after a trip to Utah in 2006. This set of cables was holding up part of the bridge and I wanted a different perspective on the common cables. I have since learned that Dewey Bridge burned down in 2008. An effort to reconstruct the bridge has been underway by the Grand County Historic Preservation Commission. I hope they are successful in the efforts!
