Creative Commons Help up in Dutch Court

The Creative Commons exists to provide a flexible range of protections and freedoms for authors, artists, and educators. I have an Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 2.0 license on my public Flickr photos. I have always wondered if the Creative Commons had been tested in court yet, and now I have an answer. Adam Curry had some of his flickr photos used without permission and decided to challenge the offender. The court upheld the license that he had on his photos. This is great news for all of us who rely on the Creative Commons to protect our property. Hopefully none of us have to go to court over it, but at least there is a prescient now to help us out. Congrats to Adam!
