You know you're an Apple fanatic if...

The San Francisco Chronicle has a great article listing all the way you might be able to tell if you are an Apple Fanatic (as if you didn't already know...). I was going to send Apple a birthday message too, but $2 seems a little steep...

What Would Jobs Do 3

Engadget had another WWJD (What Would Jobs Do) contest to see what people are thinking that Apple will announce on their 30th Anniversary. You can see all the entries here, but I wanted to point out the ones I like the best. People have some crazy photoshop skills!

The Winner is OK, but where is the mouse?

This phone would be awesome, but it looks almost identical to a w900i:

This would be cool if it happened, but it won't...at least not this year. BlueRay is too new:

This would just be awesome!

Hahaha

All the tablets are pretty cool too. Don't know why Apple still hasn't made one since they have InkWell.

Enjoy!

Creative Commons Help up in Dutch Court

The Creative Commons exists to provide a flexible range of protections and freedoms for authors, artists, and educators. I have an Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 2.0 license on my public Flickr photos. I have always wondered if the Creative Commons had been tested in court yet, and now I have an answer. Adam Curry had some of his flickr photos used without permission and decided to challenge the offender. The court upheld the license that he had on his photos. This is great news for all of us who rely on the Creative Commons to protect our property. Hopefully none of us have to go to court over it, but at least there is a prescient now to help us out. Congrats to Adam!

Colorado Smoking Ban Passes the House!

The Colorado statewide smoking ban is one step closer to going into effect! The House gave final approval to a statewide smoking ban Friday and sent the bill to Gov. Bill Owens, who is expected to sign it. I'm very excited to see this pass here in Colorado. Living in Boulder while going to college we enjoyed the smoke free environment there and now we will be able to continue enjoying a healthy environment through out this state. I'd like to say thank you to all those who made this happen!

MacBook Pro Compared to a Dell running OS X!

ArsTechnica has reviewed the MacBook Pro and they actually compared it to a Dell Inspiron that was running a hacked version of Mac OS X 10.4.4. Ultimately, the MacBook Pro and the Dell were very simular when running OS X, but the Dell running Windows slaughtered the Mac when it came to OpenGL tests. Hopefully Apple will get a handle on that sometime soon...In any case, they think the MacBook Pro is a better buy than the Dell. Long live Apple!
