Batman Begins Full Length Trailer

A full length trailer of the next (or first) installment in the Batman series has finally been released. Now we can actually see what it is going to be about! It looks pretty good besides the "batmobile" hummer thing...that just looks lame...but hey, it was his first batmobile. :) Anyway, check it out and let us know what you think! I'm still excited...hopefully he will be a good Bruce Wayne.

CenterStage - The Mac Media Center

I've been following CenterStage since it began on and off and it is really starting to take shape, so I thought I would throw a little blurb up about just to spark intrest. It used to be called MMC, the Mac Media Center and they changed the name, had people vote on logos, and started development. I can't wait to see the alpha 2 release. It looks quite good so far...almost good enough to go and get a Mac Mini...;)

Borland Open Sources JBuilder

After a suprising first quarter drop in sales, Borland has announced that they are releasing the source code to its IDE JBuilder into the Eclipse community. The move will help offset their R&D costs as the opensource community will take care of that work for them. I'm still not quite sure how this plays with Eclipse, but it could be a great resource for Eclipse to grow and get even better.

AppleJack - Command line utility to save your Mac

I saw this months ago and lost the link to it and couldn't find it for the life of me! Now I've got it again! AppleJack is an open source script that is installed onto you Mac OS X system that is a simple command line utility that allows you to fix up your Mac when nothing else can. AppleJack can be run in single usermode (Hold Command-s when booting) "you can repair your disk, repair permissions, validate the system's preference files, and get rid of possibly corrupted cache files." [from AppleJacks page] The script it's self isn't real difficult, but it is a very handy way to access all of those things. So if you haven't installed this on your machine yet, DO IT!.

Check out an article over at MacFixIt for more information as well.

Screw Tiger, I'm getting Liger!

Hahaha...this is hillarious. If you have seen Napoleon Dynamite you'll get a kick out of this! It's pretty much my favorite operating system. Thanks for the laugh Jared.

Google adds Satellite Imagery to Google Maps

Google quietly updated its maps service late Monday to include satellite imagery. To get to it, go to maps.google.com and On the top left there is a Satellite link that switches from the very clean map to a full hi-res satellite picture! It's really cool. It seems to be just over 2 years old as my old house doesn't exist on the picture yet. :) Have fun finding all your favorite places!
