SanDisk Announces 2GB Memory Sitck Duo Pro
SanDisk announced a capacity bump in their Memory Stick Duo Pro media. The max size of the Duo media (The thumbnail sized stick) has been stuck at 1GB for some time now, while the regular bubble gum sized media has been at 2GB for a little while now. This is great news for those of us who are waiting for our PSPs to arrive (Sorry, I couldn't find an offical US link). We can now have more storage for movies and music to take with our PSPs. This will also hopefully mean a price drop in the 1GB model as well. DealRam is doing a pretty good job of keeping up with the best prices so far. I've just emailed them to see when they will add the 2GB model to their watch list. They've been very responsive so far, so hopefully it won't be long! Let me know if you find good deals on the media!
