Lego Starwars the Video Game

I have been keeping an eye on Lego Starwars the Video Game ever since it had been announced. It looks like it is going to be an awesome game, and today, IGN posted the official Trailer for the game and it looks even better!! Some of the Starwars games have been good, others have been bad, and at first glance, you might think that a Lego game is going to suck. I think that we will all be in for a very nice surprise! This game is gonna be one of the best Starwars games ever.

SanDisk Announces 2GB Memory Sitck Duo Pro

SanDisk announced a capacity bump in their Memory Stick Duo Pro media. The max size of the Duo media (The thumbnail sized stick) has been stuck at 1GB for some time now, while the regular bubble gum sized media has been at 2GB for a little while now. This is great news for those of us who are waiting for our PSPs to arrive (Sorry, I couldn't find an offical US link). We can now have more storage for movies and music to take with our PSPs. This will also hopefully mean a price drop in the 1GB model as well. DealRam is doing a pretty good job of keeping up with the best prices so far. I've just emailed them to see when they will add the 2GB model to their watch list. They've been very responsive so far, so hopefully it won't be long! Let me know if you find good deals on the media!

Dave Matthews Band New Studio Album Page

Looks like the Dave Matthews Band has been working hard on their new album lately. They have put up a new page that will follow their progress as they near completion of the album. It looks like we may have their new album in May! I don't know how Dave has the time to make a new album. He has been a busy guy lately with his own solo album, a new movie and this new album. In any case, I can't wait!

GT4 and PSP Release Dates Comfirmed!

This week was a busy week for release dates! Sony has finally confirmed the US release date for Gran Tursimo 4. Tuesday, Febuary 22nd of 2005 the wait for us in the US will be over!

Sony has also announced the US release date for the PSP (the Playstation Portable). March 24th of 2005 will be the end of wait for this beautiful new consumer device. The suggested retail price will be $249. Unlike the Japanese market, there will only be one package sold in the US. It will be very simular to the Japanese Value Pack and will include: a 32MB Memory Stick Duo, headphones with remote control, battery pack, AC adaptor, soft case, and cleaning cloth. As a bonus, Sony has said that the first million units will be packaged with a limited edition UMD version of the full Spiderman 2 movie! IGN has all the details here.

So if you haven't done what I did and preordered these sweet new releases, you better get out there and do it! Good luck! And I'll let you know what I think when I get each.
